The residence is distinguished by its 13 original stone cones – the iconic roofs of Puglia’s traditional trulli. This rare architectural feature of remarkable historical significance makes House of Safira truly one of a kind, reflecting the importance and prestige the property once held.

Architecture & Original Features
The interiors preserve authentic features that tell the story of the trullo: a beautifully preserved traditional oven, an ancient water collection well set into the floor and protected by a walkable glass panel, a fireplace for cosy winter days, niches, arches and conical ceilings crafted from local stone, natural materials and irregular surfaces that keep the property’s rural heritage alive.
